A Day Much Worth The Effort

It's e time of e day which i ought to sleep.

ok fine. time of e nite if u muz. i was drawn back to my Friendster cos i was informed of a msg... n i was reading thru e "recent" testimonials tt i had n i realised how i'm not keepin in touch with these ppl anymore. Ppl who were totful enuf, n close enuf, to pen testimonials for plain ol' Si Keng.. 心中感慨万分.

days pass us by. we r all adults already. yes, tt's how fast time flies. responsibility, tertiary education, overseas education, society, voting rights. 往日已然不复. 随之而来的, 谁, 又真能说明白? E ppl whom i was close to, e ppl whom i was able to crap with n get crapped at, e ppl whose notes i could vandalise n get my notes more aesthetically appealing.. they all haf their lives of their own. not anyone else's. at least not anymore, i hope.

或许, 真的该"往事只能回味, 珍惜现在, 展望未来"...

如果有那么容易, 我就无需在这里小篇一谈了.

威仪二十一岁了.. 我曾说过对二十一岁生日并不太注重. 有听说好多朋友, 和朋友的朋友, 许许多多的其他不干己的人, 都为二十一岁生日隆重庆祝, 仿佛天大的事.. 我是个平凡主义者. 我的看法我的想法应该不会得到太大的认同吧. 我想, 以逻辑来推测, 还是让他人为自己的生日伤脑筋比自己酝酿绸缪来得恰当吧!

昨天一个小小的聚会, 其实也搞得我有些不开心. 为何? 因为我收到的回复简讯让我觉得好委屈. 不多说了. 结果聚会搞得很完整, 我很开心. 希望大家也有所同感吧.. organising is a tiring thing. i tink i haf learnt, for once. no longer is e guy who tries all out to appease everybody's wishes n desires. he has learnt to give some, take some, n dump some. n in more than some sense, he has begun to become a happier adult. at least in e outing organising subject. proper academics wise, he's still a head-shaker.

Every visit to Settler's Cafe is a fruitful visit. i enjoy myself. i crap. i am me. of cos, there r times i dun like me, esp when words come out of my mouth which i dun intend for them to. but tt's certainly another story. yest was still rather safe. but b4 Settler's, we realli intended to meet for Ben n Jerry's free ice cream giveaway...

so even though lots of ppl were late, we still joined e winding queue (which nv stopped since it started at 12nn till we left at 230pm. e power of FREE stuff). THEN we left for Settler's @ Clarke Quay...

From there, we played "I'm e Boss" (oh we paired up for e games..) n then, we split up to play different games. gd move on our part (cos they wanted to play Zombie again.. n we din). Wads zombie u say?

For e rest of us civilised ppl.. (HEHEH), there was Loco..

So Settler's ended with a nice photo taking session of a cute JJ lookalike with our dear 21st bdae princess. =) It's a nice pic, but i shan't embarrass e ger further. lolz. e remaining of us dateless ppl den went to Maxwell to eat dinner, n den to PS for some Photohunt arcade, n den finally to Selegie for some tau huay. yums. gd day eh? yeah.
