Wkend Nite Tirading

ST has come up with another series of totally pro-PAP articles. I remem my presentation grp for 102 last sem doin on Alternative Media, n we picked on the low coverage of opposition parties in mainstream media. n den i wonder, in CS, we r taught to b critical of media; in sch, so many ppl raise qns n criticize wad they see in e papers. some lecturers make jokes n sacarsm of wad we see in e papers. yet aren't these very ppl, aspiring journalists? aren't these very ppl those who go on to write, chase, n publish? in lectures, we often hear of seniors. i wonder how many of them r part of this hypocritical journey. i wonder how many of us will become part of this journey. i dun see myself as critical - in fact, i would say i'm totally lost in e area of criticism. y? bcoz i read an article n at e end of it, i only noe tt i've read it. some ppl can go on to say how statistics provided r rigged, some ppl can go on to say how by not providing certain things e article actually has a heavy slant towards one side, etc. i'm incapable of doin all tt. i hope to learn.

my uni is not e best uni to b in, i swear. in tis past sch yr, so many crappy stuff haf occurred, n students - e very ppl who make up tis sch - haf not been kept in e loop. administrative hiccups (i put it nicely) haf left many ppl clutching their heads in disbelief. go ard my sch (sch, not uni; ok faculty if u like) n do a mini census among e yr1s, n u'll realise tt if not for tis sch/fac, none of us will b in tis uni. and frankly speakin, aft being in it, we seriously wonder if we could haf chosen a better uni. i feel quite disappointed w e way e uni has chosen to handle matters. alrite, quite is understating.

i'm juz ranting of cos. so many ppl r happy abt it. aft all, we r 3rd amongst all local unis. we shld rejoice, realli.

i mean aft all, at least we were ranked.

on a lighter note, no soccer tis wkend once again. e soccer gang is getting jerseys as a team. n i haf decided to join in e expenditure. not a small amt, not at all. but i tink it's fun. and once again, no. 11 is mine. wahaha. wahahahahaha. mine!!! but i dun realli wan blue leh. hmm. haha. ok la, anything they decide would b fine.

105 proj is still not concluded. haiz. i hope to conclude it asap. a fren's grp met for 10 straight hrs on Sat to do it. i'm not realli for it, cos wkend is precious for most ppl. of cos, i rotted mine away - nth new. i wonder if it's bcoz i haf no frens, or i'm lazy to e extreme to ask ppl out. oh we took a 105 grp photo.

oh i cut my hair liao. so it's no longer like wad u see in tt pic. my sis says i look like a porcupine. -_- well, tt's wad happens when i cut short hair. e guy say he cut for me short n gel type, cos my then-current hair was a bit "成熟".. "年轻人要看起来比较年轻吗". aiyah wadevas, as long as i get my short hair.

Coming tues is a happenin day. 105 report is due; 105 lecture quiz; present econs tut qn during class; dinner/supper w baofen. everythin on Tues. kyojin pre-farewell farewell dinner for benny n renjie too, but tt's not finalised.

listening to selected songs from selected singers, generally new releases la. lookin for lyrics tt strike me.. haven found any yet. haf a growing liking for jay chou's 浪漫手机.. duno y also. oh e mtv female lead is quite pretty/cute i tink. heh. 梁咏琪 is single! so am i. heard she's buying property in s'pore.. shld i try my luck? bwahaha. i'm either goin crazy or crazy. oh ya haf a growing liking for Harlem Yu's old songs. anyone who has can send me k / lend me albums k. =)

can somebody ask me out for jogs / bball sessions? in uni, preferably. i haf a theme for my next set of lyrics bwahaha. i shld stop calling them lyrics, but as "new poems" rite? 新诗.
