as of now, my grade point, out of a rating of 5, stands at an inspirational 3.64. tt qualifies me for a second-lower honours.

sounds gd? no, not really. e frens ard me r mostly nowhere near my grade point.

yes, u got me rite. they r a lot HIGHER.

yes of cos, u naturally point me to e hordes of ppl who r having GPAs much much less than mine. in all fairness, let's juz take a look at my sch community (ie SCI). if u take a gd look at those who's GPA might not b higher than mine, u see 3 main types of ppl.
1. resume gao gao. they haf so much relevant field /work experience tt "i'm juz learning wad i can here n getting a degree lah".
2. pure interest based. aiyah, i juz wanna study sth i interested. wad for go n do wad "principle of economics" when i do in JC b4? waste time lah.
3. wad is GPA? *nonchalant stare*

me? i dun seem to fall in any of e categories. consistent to my nature, i'm once again stuck in e helms of nowhere. as much as i wan to return a condoning nonchalent stare, i can't. as much as i wanna pick up new, interesting modules n let e grades do their own work, i can't. as much as i wanna work n pick up relevant experiences, i can't (mabe i can.. i juz need to check e terms n conditions).

i juz wanna haf fun n enjoy it while i can.

so now, e way for e numbers u saw to increase, b it gradually or exponentially, i haf to score a min. of B+ in all my modules, no matter how impossible i deem it to be, or how obviously e others r worlds ahead of me standards-wise. doesn't sound too difficult for u rite? yah of cos. if it's so difficult, y did i get all my B's n den a B-? life's not hard. studies r a pc of cake.

juz tt i can't eat it.

so i chose to do sth new. sth which, not too long ago, i prob wun haf done. n i hope i'll b repaid for tis choice, although not a big one. in fact, to e thousands of undergrads out there, tis' prob a typical step in their uni life. not mine. of cos, some of it is partly natural progression (cronyism, if i may call it to a certain extent).

like roy keane moving fr fallen soccer star to newbie manager at Sunderland. was it surprising tt Niall Quinn was his former international teammate for Ireland? or how abt Keane's signings? 2 guys fr Celtic, his last football club?

no, i've not taken on e presidency of ntu student union. simply cos i tink e SU sux. can we haf a s/u option on e SU? digression.
